Before you walk in and expect a barrage of women eyeballing you for a lapdance, forget about that. Medellin strip clubs use the term strip clubs but this couldn’t be further from the truth.

Dos of Strip Clubs in Medellin
- Visit the top two – La Isla and Fase dos
- There is a cover fee of $30,000 COP ($8 USD) at most strip clubs
- It is the place where you’ll find the most overpriced liquor (a beer is $6 USD), pregame before.
- Have Colombian currency on hand as the exchange rate they give you is crap.
- Go up to the register, and ask the cashier to give you $50,000 in $2000 COP bills. This is what you will tip the women that walk by each table asking for a tip. The $50,000 comes out to be about $15 USD.
- Do buy a bottle, individual drinks will quickly add up…
Don’ts of Medellin Strip Clubs
- Don’t buy women drinks (unless she’s the one). The cocktails they order are watered-down concoctions where the girls get a kickback and catch no buzz.
- Lap dances are about $50 and going all the way is only $90, your call.
- Don’t go to any aside from La Isla, Fase dos, and Luna Lunera, the rest are somewhat ghetto with questionable hygiene.
- Unless you want to get in and get out, beers and individual drinks will end up costing you a lot more than you think.
